Beach Red, by Peter Bowman. 1945 hardcover, 1st edition. Very hard to find. World War II. Vintage Hardcover American War Novel. Condition: Very good for its age and rarity. Dust jacket has small tears at top & bottom edges, the largest tear is at the bottom front edge. Corners slightly worn. Hardcovers are good and show little signs of aging. Inside front cover has a name written in blue ink, and a brown streak that goes from top to bottom of page (probably from the sun). Similar brown streak on inside back cover page. Brown streaks are also on both front/back inner dust jacket flaps, and a faint streak underneath on the inside hardcovers in same locations. Interior pages are good, clean and tight.
