Instructions given are for using acrylic paints. This book was written especially with the beginner in mind, and the author has chosen to over-explain rather than under-explain. This is not a pattern book, as there are hundreds of those on the market and experienced painters can easily recreate them. The information here is intended to help beginners learn the terminology and techniques to understand, use and enjoy the pattern books. Condition: Good. Corner blunts. Impact marks from normal handling on covers. Interior pages are bright, tight and clean. Slightly musty smell from years of storage, but a good airing should remove that.
